Dengdeng

*Going on Trial*

Name: Dengdeng
Age: Approx 18 months old
Gender: Male
Tail: Yes
Medical: I will be desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and will be registered.
Location: Christchurch
Restrictions: No chickens –  untested with cats or livestock
Bio:
Hi there my name is Deng Deng and I am really just a big puppy, 18 months young. Unfortunately due to changes in Mum and Dads employment I am looking for my new forever home.
I am very handsome and house trained.  My favourite things are hanging with my humans, playing in my garden and going for walks everyday.  I am great with other dogs big and small.
Kids look like great fun but I don’t live with any so I guess you would say I am untested with kids but I am sure older kids would be cool.
I know basic commands like sit, go, stop and no but I get pretty excited when I see birds or falling leaves so like any adolescent I could do with continuing training.
I think I am sounding pretty flash, but I just want to find my new family so I can love, snuggle and just hang out with you forever.
Adoption fees will apply. If you are interested in Dengdeng please either let us know if you already have a form with us or PM or e-mail us for an application at rottierescuenz@gmail.com

Jaydah

*Going on Trial*

Name: Jaydah
Age:  9 years young
Gender: Female
Medical: I will be desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and will be registered.
Location: Wellington
Bio:
Can you give this lovely lady a new forever home? Jaydah’s elderly owners were heart broken to have to let her go due to a change in their personal living circumstances.
She was a very much loved dog and this comes across in the fact that Jaydah is super affectionate and loves to lean and get a good tummy rub. She also likes a nice easy walk.
Jaydah would suit a home with other dogs and has found her place in the pack in her Foster home which she shares with 2 other dogs, one of which is a puppy. She isn’t good with cats unfortunately and whilst she’s great with her 12 year old Foster sister and occasional visits from a 6 year old, she is untried with very small children and as she can be a bit ‘snatchy’ with food, we wouldn’t recommend it.
Jaydah has a small cyst on her head that is benign and has been previously been drained by the vet, but that the owners couldn’t afford to have removed. We will happily get this removed when she is spayed after lockdown.
Adoption fees will apply.
If you are interested in Jaydah please either let us know if you already have a form with us or PM or e-mail us for an application at rottierescuenz@gmail.com

Al

Name: Al
Age:  4 years old
Gender: Male
Tail: Docked
Medical: I will be desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and registered.
Location: Auckland
Restrictions: No cats, small dogs, livestock
Bio:
Meet our gorgeous boy Al. Al is a medium sized boy who is a real snugglebug and is just yearning for a family to love him.
Al would be best suited to an active family with kids 8yrs and older, maybe a female dog for companionship, and someone who is home a bit as he loves human companionship.
Al is good with dogs his own size, but is not suited to homes with livestock, cats or small dogs, as he enjoys chasing them. He’s learning his doggie manners by attending daycare with the amazing K9 Heaven team and is progressing well. Bella is also teaching him how to play and he loves a run around the yard with his new soft toy.
Like all Rotties, he loves his cuddles and snuggles and loves to be the sole focus of your attention! Your lap is the best place if he can get away with it or snuggled up next to you on the couch.
Adoption fees will apply.
If you are interested in Al please either let us know if you already have a form with us or PM or e-mail us for an application at rottierescuenz@gmail.com

Poppy

Name: Poppy
Age:  3 years old
Gender: Female
Medical: I will be desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and will be registered.
Location:Auckland
Bio:
We don’t know a lot about our gorgeous Poppy, as she was surrendered to Council following the death of her elderly owner, but we do know that she is bright as a button, loves walks, cuddles and playing with her puzzles. It appears that she hasn’t had much training or socialisation, as she was quite fearful of all noises on her first walks in foster, but is growing every day in confidence and now walks much better on lead.
As with any Rottweiler she will need an experienced owner who makes sure she knows correct boundaries and feels secure in her environment.
Poppy has shown no interest in the cats she’s seen on her walks and, given the lock down scenario we’re currently in, has had very little interactions with dogs, but these have been positive, so there’s every indication at this stage that she will be great with both. She’s untested with kids, but again does not appear to show any fear or aggression towards any she’s walked by.
Adoption fees will apply.

Princess..

*Going on trial*

Name: Princess (Cess for short)
Age:  1 year old (approx.)
Gender: Female
Tail: Docked
Medical: I will be desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and will be registered.
Location: Auckland
Bio:
Meet wild child Princess! Cess was one of 3 puppies rescued from difficult circumstances by their current foster family at 3 months old. It appears that the puppies had been docked illegally. Cess was being rehomed with her sister Nala however Nala has now been rehomed. Cess would benefit from another dog in the family though, as she has quite a bit of learning left to do and has been used to being part of a pack of 4. To date, Princess’s been an outdoor dog and will need toilet training if she’s to make the switch indoors. She’s very alert and protective and barks at noises, so may benefit from a reasonably quiet environment.
Princess appears to be good with other dogs, although her exposure has been limited to a few dogs so far. She is untried with cats, stock or small dogs, but has been raised with kids, a 6 and a 14 year old and is great with both.
Adoption fees (young dog) will apply. If you are interested in Princess, please either let us know if you already have a form with us or PM or email us for an application form at rottierescuenz@gmail.com.
