 Poor Willow was found in the Bay of Plenty area in a shocking condition . When nobody came to claim her she found her way from Vada’s rescue into Rottie Rescue HQ. She is now in foster enjoying the country lifestyle.

Initially she was fear aggressive towards the horses and cows and would stalk the chickens and had an unhealthy interest in the cats.  With a lot of love and a lot of time spent working with her and gaining her trust and love, the cows, horses and chooks are no longer of interest to her and she happily co-exists with them.  The cats still pique her interest however, so a cat free home would be best for her.

She knows basic commands and her recall has improved immensely but she still has the odd moment that her ears turn off, especially when on the scent of a rabbit out on the farm. She is a very affectionate and cuddly dog . She is good with older children (that is all she has been exposed to with us) and other dogs.

She is smitten with rides in the car and walks well on a lead and loves going on adventures.  Mitre 10 is a favourite shop of hers and she enjoys the attention she gets when she visits our local M10.  She has never shown any aggression when out and about.
